I love science fiction books. I wanted to keep a list of books that I have read so I would not forget if I had read a particular book, especially books in a series by authors I read a long time ago. I thought this would be a great thing for me to have. Later, I wanted to create my own web site using a database and PHP. So I decided to create a book list I could access from any computer. The more I thought about it, the more I thought that other people might like to have a place to store their book lists and be able to go to the web to check on things. The other things just kind of came from there.

Well now that I have written about my idea, I would like to get input from people who are interested and have other helpful ideas. This is the first public site I have created and I am trying to do it myself. So please be patient, it will probably take me a while to get it up and running.
